Adams Golf adds the newest tour-caliber hybrid to its lineup with the Idea Pro a12. Compared to previous models, it’s designed with a hotter face, improved playability and a sleek black finish that appeals to better players. The Idea Pro a12 is the next generation of the #1 hybrids played on the PGA Tour.
A hot face constructed of maraging steel produces higher ball speeds and a penetrating ball flight.
The sole has been optimized with a steel skid plate and a flush-mounted weight screw that reduces the amount of turf interaction for better playability.
Sleek, tour-proven shaping meets the demands of better players who want a compact head for better shot-shaping capabilities and a dark finish to help reduce glare.
PUMA Golf pro, Rickie Fowler, looks to turn heads with his golf game and his stylish outfits at this week’s US Open Championship at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Md. This will be Rickie’s third appearance at the US Open and he is certainly no stranger to the big stage, having made the cut as an amateur in the 2008 US Open at Torrey Pines in San Diego, CA.
Rickie has been prepping for this week’s major by practicing back in California and feels confident about the state of his game. Asked last week if he felt his game fit the US Open, Rickie stated, “It fits my game really well. My game’s in really good form right now. Going into the Open, a lot of it’s survival. You’re going to make bogeys. Hopefully get some birdies going, minimal bogeys. Over the last two to four years I’ve gotten smarter about how to play. That’ll definitely help me in the Open. I feel like I’ll have control over it. Fairways, middle of the green, two putts and move on. Pars are going to be key, sneak a few birdies, and hang on until Sunday.”
In his last appearance on Tour at The Memorial, Rickie led the field in birdies for the week with a total of 26. Rickie will be looking to continue that birdie train, but reduce the mistakes. It is sure to be an exciting week as Rickie is paired with Cobra (hyperlink) staff pro Ian Poulter for the first two rounds.
Rickie will also be debuting a new special edition Cell Fusion shoe which will be available in limited quantities at select retailers. Don’t miss out on your chance to own these unique shoes!
Check out this spectacular clip of Rickie Fowler getting warmed up for the US Open earlier this week at the Red Bull promotion in D.C. This is truly amazing!

Both firms will be merged into Adams Golf’s headquarters in East Plano.
Yes! Golf historically has reported annual revenue between $2.4 million and $10.2 million.
“We have been looking for an attractive avenue into the putter market for some time and believe the Yes! Golf brand and technology platform provides us just such an opportunity,” said Chip Brewer, president and CEO of Adams Golf.
