New Ashworth Ambassador Wagner Captures Third Career PGA Tour Victory After Switching To Ashworth Apparel.
Playing calm and confident all week at the Sony Open In Hawaii, the season’s first full-field event, new Ashworth Golf Staff Professional Johnson Wagner captured his first win of 2012 in style. Johnson closed with a 3-under 67 Sunday at Waialae Country Club to card a two-shot victory and his third career PGA Tour title.
The win earned Wagner the top-spot in the FedEx Cup points race and puts him in this year’s Masters. Since joining Ashworth at the beginning of the year, Wagner has a top-finish and a win after two events.
